      PeopleSoft/IAS Outage July 10 - 13, 2020
      PeopleSoft/IAS, along with several other services, will be unavailable while ITS performs a significant upgrade beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, July 10 through noon on Monday, July 13, 2020. See what  services will be impacted so you can plan your work accordingly.  

      Introducing 2-Step Login with Duo
      This summer, ITS is introducing all faculty/staff to 2-Step Login using Duo. This extra layer of security further protects University accounts by requiring the use of a one-time code in addition to a NetID and password to access campus IT services. Read and learn more about 2-Step Login with Duo, including its useful "Remember me for 30 days" feature.

      Keep Teaching
      ITS offers numerous tools for teaching and learning and conducting University business from anywhere with an Internet connection. Campus technology resources can keep students, faculty and staff connected regardless of physical location. Learn more about UAlbany's Keep Teaching resources.

      Keep Working
      Many of the tools ITS provides for teaching and learning can also be used to conduct University business. Connect and collaborate with colleagues, store and share your work and much more with Keep Working resources.

      Wikis @ UAlbany Upgrade

      Introducing Microsoft Teams
      On Monday, June 1, 2020, Microsoft Teams replaced Skype for Business. This all-in-one communication solution integrates chat (IM), online meetings, calling, file management and a project workspace in a single interface. Install Teams on your computer or view a QuickStart guide.

      SUNY Print Strategy
      UAlbany is participating in a SUNY System Administration initiative to develop strategies to achieve system-wide sustainability goals. ITS is deploying system-approved software to collect data about printers, copiers and multi-function devices. A message to the campus community is forthcoming.
